I have many passions in my life...and reading and writing are two of them, I have a library stacked with books from floor to ceiling, the room is only 10x12 feet but it is packed with books.
Writing in many different styles is something that I do, I write in freewrite, which is off the cuff, I write short stories, fiction and non fiction, childrens, etc......
A goal I have is to put my experiences in the healing arts into books so that many will make use of what I have learned.
Art plays a role also....I am a creative spirit and so to me art and writing go hand and hand...my home is filled with my artwork, on my dining room floor I have a sunflower that is five feet by five and one half feet wide... I painted it on the floor and then covered it with a covering that is for bowling alleys....I also did a carpet of sunflowers down the hall finished it the same way...
In my kitchen I have collaged around the counter, on the walls instead of wallpaper, I made my own wallpaper, and it's wonderful....and too finish it off, where there was no window I made one, got a old window frame from a second hand store, and painted it up, marked out on the wall where it would go and began to collect pictures for it, when I was sure I had a enough pictures I began to collage them on the wall, and then I put the window frame back over it....I think it looks wonderful,my friends do also, but many do not have the ability to do what I do, they either rent their homes or are not that way inclined.....* I was not that way inclined either a few years ago...but now I try not to stay in the box of limitations we put for ourselves and so I have fun jumping out of it...and it does me really good....

I began that group in March of 2001, it is freewrite group I begin by finding a quote or creating one and then I write, I dont really think about what it has to do with the quote I just write... off the cuff and free...no editing, no inner critic.... just writing...my intention is to do it each day...but I do it when I can and that may be each day or once a week but I do it...
